There was a protest in Erbil today by bakery owners after a decision by Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani to lower bread prices to 10 breads per 1000 IQD. The owners say this way they lose money and that instead of doing his job, such as providing salaries and other basic needs, he is scapegoating them.

The protestors are very angry. For example, this bakery owner says: "If the Prime Minister really wants to reform, why doesn't he start with his brothers, cousins, his family, tribal leaders and traitors ? Why is he not preventing all the oil tankers that are smuggled every day to other countries?"
