🔶️ From a geopolitical standpoint, the Darfur region has borders with eastern Libya, which is governed by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the ally of (RSF's) General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, or Hemedti, and the region is also bordered by Chad and Central Africa.
🔶️ Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the SAF, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, recently accused the United Arab Emirates of supporting the RSF through Chad and Central Africa.

🇮🇶 — Turnout in the early voting for the Iraqi provincial council elections stood at 38 percent across the country as of 12:00 PM AST, the electoral body announced.
🇮🇶 — According to the Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission, more than 67% of eligible “special” voters participated in early voting for the Iraqi provincial council elections on Saturday.
The special early voters consist of government personnel, lawmakers, police officers, internally displaced persons, and military personnel.
Among notable statistics provided, the disputed territories, or areas claimed by both Baghdad and Erbil, recorded higher than average turnouts across the country, with a 75% turnout for Nineveh Province, 70% for Kirkuk Province, and 78% for Diyala Province.

⚠️ Confirmed: Live metrics show a nation-scale disruption to social media platforms across #Pakistan, including X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube; the incident comes just ahead of a major virtual gathering organized by persecuted opposition leader Imran Khan's party, PTI
According to locals, unknown commando gunmen raided the building in the middle of a party and opened fire on everyone inside.
In Total, 11 people were killed instantly and 12 were injured, 2 of them gravely.
In addition, 6 vehicles were set on fire by the gunmen and 7 more had damage from bullet impacts.
Per the local media, the attack occurred around at 3:30 am when a group of young people were celebrating an inn.
