Earlier today, the commander of the Southern Command, Colonel Yaron Finkelman, held a situation assessment that dealt, among other things, with the issue of the tunnel and the exposure of the shafts in the Gaza Strip.

The chief engineering officer, Lt. Col. Ido Mizrahi also participated in the situation assessment."

🇮🇱❌🇵🇸🇵🇸 — On November 6, 2023, the 🇮🇱 Israel Defense Forces published footages showing the situation assessment by IDF Leaders inside Gaza strip as the War between Palestinean factions and the State of Israel reached 1 month

According to Times of Israel, quoting the Israeli military, the head of the IDF Southern Command, Maj. Gen. Yaron Finkelman entered the Gaza Strip oN this November 6, 2023 with Israeli ground forces to carry out an assessment

The assessment, with the head of the Combat Engineering Corps, Brig. Gen. Ido Mizrahi, dealt with the issue of Hamas tunnels.

Alongside it, the IDF also released a new footage of its infantry troops operating in the Gaza Strip and as well its engineering teams demoliting a building supposedly belonging to Hamas and its allies

🇮🇱❌🇵🇸🇵🇸 — Earlier today, November 7, 2023, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) published a sequence of photos of its forces operating inside Gaza strip.

Once again it can be noted that the IDF is taking great precautions regarding the use of suicide drones by Hamas against armor units, given the massive use of Slat Armors/Cope cages on Merkavas MBTs

Interestingly, IDF infantrymen also now rely on the use of fighting dogs, possibly to track tunnel entries and hiding facilities
