🇲🇩❌🟥🟩🟥 Transnistrian news outlet, Pridnestrovets, accused Chișinău of instituting an economic blockade of the enclave after Transnistrian businesses were denied transit through Moldova making it impossible to export their goods.

Pridnestrovets accuses Chișinău of a deliberate attempt to put pressure on Transnistrian leadership by provoking economic losses to local businesses which cause a loss in tax revenue for Tiraspol.

Pridnestrovets recalled an interview of deputy Moldovan PM, Oleg Serebrian: "We treat the Transnistrian region not as a foreign body, but as an integral part of our country. In this regard, we have decided to gradually abandon the harmful policy of preferential treatment for this region, which has not achieved its goal. Moreover, we are forced to adjust our legislation to the European one, and many of these preferences are in conflict with the rules we are forced to apply in the country," putting the blame on him for the economic woes which affect the separatist enclave.

Oleg Serebrian is also the minister for reintegration, having being tasked with solving the Transnistrian conflict.

As stated previously, Maia Sandu has found a solution to the Transnistrian conflict and it will not involve a military operation into the separatist enclave, rather, she wants to economically cripple the breakaway region and force it to submit to Chișinău this way, by deliberately starving it of money and resources. Sandu managed to eliminate Moldova's direct dependency on Russian natural gas but it has yet to eliminate the dependency on the electric energy produced in the enclave. Once Moldova is able to secure most of its electric energy from Romania or other markets, Transnistria's days as a breakaway state will be numbered.

Moldovan authorities have their own vision of the Transnistrian conflict solution, but it is not the right time to discuss it yet - Sandu.

"The authorities have their vision, but it is not the right moment to discuss this vision yet. How realistic it is depends on the geopolitical context, we hope that we will have this window, this geopolitical opportunity to realize our vision. Currently, our main goal is to maintain stability on both banks of the Dniester in order to prevent the country from being dragged into war," Moldovan President Maia Sandu said on TV.

🇳🇬 Nigerian troops report the arrest of two gun runners supplying terrorist groups in Kaduna state.

The troops recovered a quantity of ammunition and automatic rifles, including one locally crafted AK-47.

🇧🇫 Intra-jihadist warfare in Ganta

Heavy clashes have taken place around the village of Ganta in eastern Burkina Faso, between IS-Sahel and JNIM/AQIM.

IS forces raided and occupied the village for cattle some days ago, killing some 50 civilians in the process.

The next day, JNIM, which sees the village as part of its territory, retaliated in force, leading to heavy clashes that have killed about 50 fighters between the two sides.

Meanwhile, the Burkinabè armed forces have completely lost control of the area.

🇮🇷 — The Sons of the Jazeera and Euphrates Movement has begun claiming, in the manner of very transparent communiques, that it is undertaking rocket attacks on U.S. bases in Syria.

On October 26, 2023, the Iraqi muqawama social media reported a rocket attack on U.S. troops in Conoco base in the countryside of the northern Deir al-Zor region. Unlike all but one of the attacks on U.S. assets in Iraq and Syria since October 17, 2023, this attack was not claimed by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. Instead, some Iraqi muqawama Telegram channels suggested that a Syrian militia called Harakat Abna al-Jazeera wal Furat (Sons of the Jazeera and Euphrates Movement) has taken responsibility for the attack.

The association of attacks in Deir al-Zor with a local tribal force is probably an effort to send the message that Iran’s Syrian allies are now part of the campaign against U.S. bases. This was probably the case even before the Sons of the Jazeera and Euphrates Movement began claiming attacks in its own name, with local Sunni tribes providing some operators to assist in local attacks in Deir al-Zor, but now those partners are being publicly built up by the muqawama propaganda machine. This may be a warning to the U.S. that tribal proxies may be further mobilized to destabilize U.S./SDF operating areas in Syria.
