Iranian-backed militias transfer fighters from Deir Ez-Zor and other areas in Syria near Israel

Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports than Iranian-backed militias, including Lebanese Hezbollah and the IRGC, have moved over 300 fighters from different units, including the Special Task Force, from Deir Ezzor, Homs, and Aleppo to Al-Qunaitrah, Rif Dimashq, and the border area near the occupied Golan Heights. Notably, dozens of these fighters underwent urgent training in Deir Ezzor, particularly at the Ayash camp, under the supervision of the IRGC.

It was also reported on October 12 that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps announced their need to recruit nearly 1,000 individuals aged between 14 to 30 for their forces. They began accepting volunteers in Deir Ezzor and surrounding villages, offering monthly salaries of one and a half million Syrian pounds.

To facilitate the recruitment process, voluntary recruitment offices have been set up in various locations, such as the Nasr Center in Al-Omal neighborhood and the Iranian Cultural Center in Al-Villat neighborhood. Local commanders affiliated with Iranian-backed militias, including "Rami Al-Zghayr" and "Nasha't Al-Suleiman," are overseeing the recruitment.

These volunteers are expected to undergo military training and receive other courses, including "Shiism," at the Ayash camp, which is controlled by Iranian-backed militias, for a duration of 20 to 30 days. Subsequently, they will be moved to Damascus and then to Lebanon under the coordination of Lebanese Hezbollah, with the objective of deploying them to Palestine to participate in actions against Israel.

Additionally, Lebanese Hezbollah has withdrawn many of its members from cities in Deir Ezzor, including Al-Mayadeen and Al-Bukamal, and relocated them to Lebanon. Convoys of Hezbollah members left the region in groups, taking the Deir Ezzor-Damascus highway to avoid potential clashes with ISIS in the desert route.
