During the video, Hezbollah fighters are seen carrying out a ATGM strike against a Merkava MBT belonging to Israel Defense Forces (IDF) near the Lebanese-Israeli border at Hanita site of IDF, on the Israeli side.

According to the Hezbollah, such an attack was a response to the killing and wounding of journalists in the town of Alma al-Shaab and civilians in the town of Shebaa, on last October 15, 2023 by IDF artillery

Per reports, IDF Officer Amitai Garnaut — son of Rabbi Tamir Garnaut, head of the Orot Shaul yeshiva — was killed on the northern border by such a missile fired by Hezbollah.

Interestingly, this tactic was adopted by Al-Qassam Brigades during the first day of the war in Gaza, where the Palestinian fighters targeted with ATGMs and plastic explosives cameras and automated machine guns located at the Israeli-Gaza border
