At least 30 AK103 rifles were stolen in the early hours of this Monday, Tuesday, October 10, 2023, from the weapons park of the Mariscal Juan Crisóstomo Falcón Naval Base.

Unofficial sources reported that of the total number of weapons, military personnel managed to recover at least three; in adjacent areas of the component.

Allegedly, during the recovery of part of the weapons, the officials detained several people. The number is unknown.

Likewise, it was learned that different police and military forces maintain a search device to find the rest of the lot and capture those responsible for the incident.
