Argentina's presidential candidate Javier Milei expressed criticism against the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, after the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Indec) reported that the incidence of poverty increased by 0.9 percentage points in urban areas of the country in the first half of this year compared to the last six months of 2022, reaching 40.1% of the population.
🗣 "Continue to fight (destroy) capital, this way there will be no new jobs, let alone increased productivity that allows for real wage improvements. Then, they are surprised by the increase in the number of poor and destitute," wrote Milei on Twitter.

This reminds one of an event which took place this summer which shows to what extent individuals are willing to go to keep foreign militaries off of their homeland.
