Paris has sent a military attaché to Yerevan and plans to open a consulate in Syunik as a sign of support for the territorial integrity of Armenia, announced the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Catherine Colonna.

Yesterday & today the entire population of the Martuni region was evacuated from the Azerbaijani siege to Stepanakert.

Days ago the Martakert region and a large part of the Askeran region were also evacuated.
People are now staying only in Stepanakert & a few surrounding villages.

The fifth congress of the PUK is set to commence tomorrow in Sulaimani.

• The event will feature 600 members from various branches of the PUK. Reports indicate that participation is restricted to those approved by Bafel Talabani.
• Alongside some of the PUK’s seasoned leaders, at least 15 former members of the leadership will be absent from the congress.

Sarkawt Zaki, the head of the PUK’s Organizational Bureau, stated that the new leadership will comprise 51 members, while the Political Bureau will be downsized to 10 members.
