The meeting will last until next Tuesday, and it is expected that at the end, the start date for peace negotiations, a bilateral ceasefire, and mechanisms for the protection of the civilian population will be announced.

This is the second official encounter between the parties, following the announcement of the Government and the EMC of the FARC-EP in July of their willingness to initiate dialogue.

Gustavo Petro's government is known for actively negotiating with terrorist groups in Colombia, with Cuba as the main mediator.

๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ News source "Sprote" and Russo-Latvian reporter Aleksei Stefanov have reported that e-mails and letters are being issued to those who have not taken the Latvian language exam, stating that they must willingly leave Latvia within 3 months.

Pensioners who failed the level A2 exam, or did not apply for the test to begin with are the ones who are most effected by this inevitability, with a total of 3,600 people within the first bout "asked" to vacate the country. About 10 thousand in total refused to take this test, which has been noted by some as being both shameful and economically unwise.

As we mentioned, these people are being "asked" to leave, and although this may be evident to some, it should be noted that this is not due to some benevolence on the part of Latvian authorities. If they could afford it, they would most likely forcefully remove these people within a few weeks of receiving the notice. The key note here is "if they could afford it". With all the antics with the Health, Agriculture, and Energy industries, with the backdrop of massive military purchases and infrastructure blunders, it really is no surprise that they'd be forced to simply ask people to leave rather than forcefully remove them.

At least five policemen were killed in an attack by armed men in Nigeria's southeastern Imo state.

Separatists in the area have frequently targeted police stations and government buildings.

The authorities have blamed the banned group, the Indigenous People of Biafra for most of the attacks.

Imo police spokesman confirmed the attack occurred at Ehime Mbano local government area of the state, but did not immediately provide details because investigations are ongoing.

Local media reported at least eight fatalities including soldiers and men of Nigeria's Civil Defence Corps, a paramilitary agency.
