🇮🇹🛂📹 — Invasion of Lampedusa: Over the past 72 hours, Italian medias and local channels belonging to concerned citizens reported that a massive influx of illegal migrants arrived at the Lampedusa island, one of Pelagia Islands of southern Italy, in the Mediterranean Sea.

According to official reports, more than 7000 migrants arrived via boats, with local medias reporting that such number could easily surpass the 10,000 coming from North Africa with DOZENS more arriving each hour.

Most, if not all, migrants seems to come War-torn, Salafist-plagued Sahel Region of Western Africa.

Fighting and clashes between the island's few local security forces and African immigrants were reported, with illegal immigrants making their way towards the center of the island.

It is worth remembering that according to some reports presented by the Tunisian media, thousands of immigrants from the Sahel in North Africa are preparing to take the same route that their illegal compatriots took in recent days

Noteworthy that Lampedusa island barely has a population 7,000 native population.

Italy's Coast Guard and the Ministry of the Interior announced the immediate removal of those sheltered in overcrowded shelters, to Sicily or the mainland of the country.
