🇷🇺✈️🇲🇱 — On September 15, 2023, it was reported that a Il-62M of the Russian Aerospace Forces landed again in the capital of Mali, Bamako, which earlier, on Wednesday, flew from Zhukovsky to Khmeimim Air Base in Latakia Province of Arab Republic of Syria, from where it continued its journey to Bamako today.

According to observers, this aircraft was used for the recent visits of the Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, Colonel-General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, to a number of African countries, in particular to Mali, Libya, Syria, the Central African Republic and Burkina Faso.
