According to local media, Hundreds of Muslim men invaded an area belonging to a traditional Christian community in Punjab, Eastern Pakistan, vandalizing and destroying several churches, as well Christian cemeteries and burning dozens of houses, after a family among of the church members was accused of "desecrating a copy of the Qur’an"
During the barbaric acts, the Crosses were teared down by the Islamist mobs with copies of the Bibles alongside other churches items being burned in the during the attack
A Christian leader, Akmal Bhatti, told Reuters that the Islamist crowd had torched at least five churches and looted valuables from houses that had been abandoned by their owners after Islamic clerics made announcements in mosques inciting the muslim mobs against the local Christians

🇦🇷💥💸📊 — The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) made the decision this past Monday (14) to increase the Leliq rate, which is the country's basic interest rate, by 21 percentage points, raising it from 97% to 118%.
The intention behind this measure is to absorb the excess pesos in the market, as stated by the monetary authority. Additionally, the institution set the exchange rate at 350 pesos per dollar until the elections scheduled for October. As a result of this measure, there was a devaluation of 22% of the peso against the US dollar.
The government artificially held the exchange rate before the primary elections, a clearly electoral move. After the election, they made the inevitable adjustment.

— The Anarcho-Capitalist Argentine Presidential candidate Javier Milei says that if elected, Argentina will not trade with its second largest partner, People's Republic of China (after Brazil), and would trade only with the Civilized West (United States, European Union and Israel)

- The previous Center-Right (Macri) and ongoing Center-Left (Alberto Fernandez) administrations signed agreements for a space observation base for the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) in Patagonia, the southern territory of Argentina where Mapuche guerrillas often make attacks
