🇦🇫❌🇦🇫 — On August 14, 2023, the 2nd anniversary of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and, subsequently, the downfall of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan & establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF), a faction made up by remnants of the Afghan National Army and Anti-Taliban Volunteers who launched an insurgency against the group led by the son of Ahmad Shah Massoud, published an official statement marking the anniversary of what they consider a "National Tragedy"

On the statement, the NRF praises the 'nationwide widespread armed resistance and civil resilience of Afghan people' against the 'tyrannical rule of the Taliban', praising its 'esteemed martyrs of resistance and all victims of Taliban crimes' and promising to the 'honorable families of the martyrs' that the NRF 'will stand by them in any circumstances and will honor their sacrifices'

The Insurgent Group accuses the Taliban/IEA of pursuing a 'tyrannical policy in Afghanistan' by doing Killings and massacre to major human crimes against Afghan people, as well destroying the basis of the Afghan society for a growing humane society — as self-determination, national unity, religious moderation, legal-civil structures.

The NRF ends its statement vowing to continue the 'fight against the oppression and crimes of the Taliban terrorist group' and 'stand in the right place in history' until they win

🇵🇰❌✝️ — On today, August 16, 2023, Heavy Anti-Christian pogroms started in Christian areas of Faisalabad, Punjab Province of Pakistan

According to local media, Hundreds of Muslim men invaded an area belonging to a traditional Christian community in Punjab, Eastern Pakistan, vandalizing and destroying several churches, as well Christian cemeteries and burning dozens of houses, after a family among of the church members was accused of "desecrating a copy of the Qur’an"

During the barbaric acts, the Crosses were teared down by the Islamist mobs with copies of the Bibles alongside other churches items being burned in the during the attack

A Christian leader, Akmal Bhatti, told Reuters that the Islamist crowd had torched at least five churches and looted valuables from houses that had been abandoned by their owners after Islamic clerics made announcements in mosques inciting the muslim mobs against the local Christians
