At least two people were killed, including an eight-month-old infant, and 13 rescued after a migrant boat capsized off Tunisia's Gabes coast, state radio said on Saturday.

A search was underway for missing migrants, Radio Tunisienne added.

🇲🇷🇲🇱 Mauritania mediates with Tuareg separatists in Mali

According to several sources, the Mauritanian government has begun mediating between the government of Mali and the Tuareg separatist CMA, which controls significant territory in the northern half of the country.

There is currently a dispute between the two sides over who will assume control of a MINUSMA base in the northern city of Ber, as the UN force withdraws from the country. The Malian government wants its own forces to step in, while the separatist CMA claims this would violate a ceasefire agreement which stipulated that the two sides remain in their positions at the time of signing.

The ceasefire in question was signed in 2014 in the Mauritanian capital of Nouakchott with mediation by the hosting government.

So much so that the pro-Likud, government newspaper, Hayom, published an exclusive interview with the most controversial politician in Romania at the moment, George Simion, putting him in a positive light unlike any Romanian publication that has covered Simion, ignoring the couple antisemitic incidents involving fellow party members.

In the interview Simion emphasised “the need to have correct relations between Romania and Israel”. He said that he “wished the Jewish minority in Romania was bigger” and that “ethnic minorities can help us (Romania) become a richer and more diverse society”.

Simion stated that, in the future, he wants to take advantage of the 800k Israelis of Romanian origin. On the antisemitism issue, he put the blame on a “group of people looking to make gains by labelling AUR and him as antisemitic”. He also stated that while he believes the Holocaust was real, he doesn’t see the necessity to teach pupils in school about it. He claims that Romania is a country free of antisemitism and pledged to combat the emergence of antisemitism. Simion stated that he does not admire figures like Corneliu Codreanu or Ion Antonescu but he believes that their admirers must not be punished by the law.

Simion said that “Ion Antonescu is a criminal according to ethics and the law”. He dodged the question when the Jewish host asked if AUR would enforce the laws agains the “veneration of war criminals” by saying that “the matter was settled in 2001” (when the law was passed). Simion expressed his desire to realise the union between Romania and Moldova, he expressed his desires to secure fair treatment for Romanians in Ukraine.

Lastly, when asked how would describe AUR, Simion referenced former American president, Donald Trump and the globalist - patriot conflict calling himself and his supporters as “patriots”. He said that he prefers Trump over Biden.

Voting in CABA is extended until 1900 due to delays with the electronic voting machines which Larreta (who himself had issues with) pushed for implementing.

Those machines also had significant issues and electoral judge María Servini warned the National Electoral Chamber that there are failures in the Single Electronic Ballot machines in the City of Buenos Aires and criticized "the degree of improvisation" and the "imperice never seen before" to organize the election.
