🇧🇷🇺🇦💀 — Four Brazilians have died in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Brazil did not send troops to either country, but some citizens voluntarily chose to participate in the conflict. Here are the individuals:
📌 Antônio Hashitani, a 25-year-old medical student from Paraná, died fighting on one of the bloodiest fronts of the war in the city of Bakhmut, about 600 kilometers from Kiev.
📌 Douglas Rodrigues Búrigo, a 40-year-old from the southern region of Brazil, died in July 2022, two months after arriving in Ukraine. He was a victim of a Russian airstrike in the city of Kharkiv.
📌 Thalita do Valle, a 39-year-old from Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, also died in July 2022. She was asphyxiated while trying to hide from an attack inside a bunker in Kharkiv.
📌 André Luis Hack Bahi, a 44-year-old from Porto Alegre, the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, was the first Brazilian whose death was confirmed in the conflict.

🌎🗺🚩 — An interesting map for you: the difference between the "conservative wave" of 2017 and the current landscape of 2023 across all of Latin America.
The current scenario resembles the same situation of 2007~2012. In your opinion, what happened during this recent period for this change to occur rapidly, and what would be the next steps moving forward from now?
The left in the American continent eliminates its rivals:
🇺🇸 Trump investigated and three arrest warrants.
🇧🇷 Jair Bolsonaro banned from elections.
🇻🇪 Maria Corina banned from elections.
🇧🇴 Luis Fernando Camacho in prison.
🇦🇷 Javier Milei in political persecution.
🇪🇨 Fernando Villavicencio assassinated.
What could have contributed during this time?

⚡️🇳🇪🇪🇬 For the past few weeks, Egypt has been generally silent regarding the coup in Niger, with only one statement being published, which is neither Pro or Anti Coup, the statement read that Egypt hopes for all parties to engage in constructive engagement and find an end to their political crisis.
However, local news outlets, alongside talks in the grapevine, has led to some information that is generally consistent with what we see and know.
1) Egypt is categorically against any military intervention in Niger, and discreetly supports Algeria in the Nigerien file, thus they both have the same position, that any intervention in Niger would be against the interests of the region and they would oppose it "in any way they can."
2) Egypt is against any military assault that is inflicted upon the Nigerien, Malian, and Burkinabe militaries, Egypt has a direct interest in the military cohesion and effectiveness of these troops in the local and broader file of the Sahel and Africa in the topic about terrorism, from what I know, Egypt has trained at least 4,000 troops, with around 800 being Malian troops, a company of Nigerien special forces, and the rest being combat soldiers and anti-terror units from the three aforementioned countries.
3) Egypt, before the coup by a few days in Niger, had supplied a sizeable military package to Niger, including 30 BRDMs, 20 Howitzers, tens of thousands of rounds and firearms and RPGs, and other surveillance equipment, such packages has been offered to Burkina Faso and Mali before, Egypt is not interested in directly intervening in any other countries, and only deals with the national armies and institutions of countries to respect sovereignty and order.
And while Egypt is not explicitly Pro-Coup, it is an internal affair of Niger and no country has the right to intervene in the affairs of Niger, but I do not know if Egypt will get involved if such an invasion happens, and which can change the position of the country from "Neutral" to "Pro-Government (which is coup).
