Here I’d like to share a short excerpt from a tweet post. I really loved how the writer managed to skillfully use the word short in different phrases, acknowledging one of the strongest chess players from the 90s, Nigel Short.
In short, Nigel was the kind of player that is in short supply today. And although some may think he fell short, that his career had shortcomings, he’s not short of accomplishments. He’s been shortchanged by a community with a short memory and a shortage of chess historians. And this is nothing short of unfortunate. This is my short tribute, happy birthday to Nigel Short.

Ok, so turns out the NEW IELTS 18 is out and many channels are illegally distributing pdf copies through their channels!
I strongly urge everyone to buy the original book instead and, most importantly, you should NOT rush into finishing the book.
P.S. I still haven’t done the listening and reading questions from IELTS 17.
