The first workshop on vegetable gardens was a beautiful get together of three engaged people.

In two days we went through every aspect of theory, soil, the vegetables themselves and techniques of gardening in Alentejo.

In October there is another weekend planned for the vegetable garden. In April we focused on the summer garden, in October we will focus on the winter garden.

Dear gardeners 🍁🍂☀️

Autumn is slowly turning into the Alentejo winter. I am always so surprised (still after three years!) how green it can become here. At days of rain, when the clouds cover the peaks of the hills and fill part of the valleys, this beautiful land even reminds me of the Amazon rainforest, where I visited an indigenous people.

2025 has been a year of slow and steady growth for my project Beija Flor. It was more about connecting with like minded projects, including some very promising Portuguese initiatives on regeneration and co-living, than earning a lot of money.

The abundance I received this year, and about which I am very happy, is the feedback I received from clients and participants. They experienced magic and deeply appreciated my work.

I consider this to be the best start for what I would like to bring in this world: that we are able to connect more freely to ourselves, the other and nature.

Bom dia todos, first of all a good new year for you all ✨

When growing a few herbs in your garden, plants easily get exhausted and, eventually, will die. This way of planting works.

Herbs, especially in summer, need some requirements. By cutting the roots when planting, you stimulate the roots growing into your garden soil. This will help them to find water in summer. In this season watering and some shading will be appreciated as well.

When taken care of your herbs will flourish for years.
