關於 Kureze Effect 第二階段，NianticBrian 作出了一些解釋。

・NIASection14 會繼續在 Kureze Effect 期間投放戰鬥信標，和第一階段一樣。

・第二階段的玩法與第一階段的城市戰不同，而是挑選一些活躍的 Portal 。 （ BTSC 猜測，也許可以稍稍注意下自己城市有 Res 和 Enl 雙方一起互動較高的 Portal？）

・已經在第一階段獲得了 Kureze Effect 獎章的玩家，仍然可以參加第 2 階段和第 3 階段，為 Kureze Effect 和陣營做貢獻。（已得到 Kureze Effect 獎章的玩家，不會再獲得同樣第二個獎章，但是 Kureze Effect (Event) 進度將可繼續累積）
