#BREAKING : What looks to be a train hauling oil and flammable materials has derailed in Spartanburg County, South Carolina - Officials have yet to give detail on how several train carts had derailed near the Enoree Highway area

Don't want to cause fear porn but trains don't just derail off the tracks unless it was a collision based accident (As you see in Texas) or deliberate sabotage (As you've seen in Ohio and now possibly South Carolina)

These distractions from what is truly happening "behind the scenes" however are truly becoming more of an up front issue that the in-the-long-run issues we're all facing today.

The same people used as extras in the movie 'White Noise' - A movie about a toxic train derailment in Ohio - "Just so happen" to be from Palestine, Ohio.

That's it. That's the punchline. There is no joke. Does make me wonder however if any of the "blooper" footage from the movie will be used as "actual footage of the disaster"

Facts about the Ohio River

The Ohio River is 981 miles long, starting at the confluence of the Allegheny and the Monongahela Rivers in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and ending in Cairo, Illinois, where it flows into the Mississippi River.

The Ohio River flows through or borders six states: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. In addition, water from parts of New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama drain into tributaries that empty into the Ohio.

The Ohio River is the source of drinking water for more than five million people. More than 25 million people, almost 10% of the US population, live in the Ohio River Basin.

There are 20 dams on the Ohio River, managed by the Army Corps of Engineers. The dams have greatly changed the flow of the river, creating a series of very slow moving pools rather than a free flowing river. This makes the river muddier, which is harmful to bottom-dwelling species. In addition, the Corps regularly dredges the river, disrupting wildlife and increasing turbidity

I wonder how the dams will affect the spread or containment of contamination…

If you wake up and live in the surrounding area(s) of East Palestine, Ohio and smell something toxic that burns your nose, eyes and lungs and then go outside to find your chickens are dead then it's time for you to bug out IMMEDIATELY. This is 10 miles from the blast zone and Vinyl Chloride is able to be carried by the water particles in the wind streams.. Unfortunately more of this is to come. Get you and your family out now. It's not just what was in the tanker cars. It's what happens when they burn and combine. This may be the largest dioxin plume in world history. I know of no more serious release, ever.

This mess of 14 tanker cars (really, many more, but 14 had vinyl chloride) was then set on fire by the government, apparently to make it easier to clear the railroad tracks. This was the worst possible decision.

This is not a local issue. This massive plume will spread far and wide, and is being blown by the prevailing winds across Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York State, toward the population centers of the northeastern U.S.

Dioxins were the extremely toxic component in the Vietnam War-era defoliant Agent Orange. The were at the Love Canal in Niagara Falls; they were the toxin involved in the evacuation and dissolution of Times Beach, Missouri. They are the cause of toxic shock syndrome from bleached paper tampons.
