Series of fantasy illustrations exploring dreamlike creatures and mythological imagery.In this project I combine elements of animals, folklore, and imagination to create hybrid beings that exist somewhere between nature and myth.Many of these images are also inspired by visual motifs from Asian cultures, incorporating animals, symbols, and atmospheres that I have encountered during my time in the region.Through these illustrations I aim to create a small world of mysterious creatures, where fantasy, history, and imagination merge into a poetic visual narrative.

As the Lead Illustrator and Animator, I directed this 90-second 2D animated film for the UCLA Social Sciences team. The project involved distilling complex research from climate change to AI disinformation into a high-energy, cohesive visual narrative. By blending hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation with After Effects compositing, I transformed dense academic topics into a vibrant, fluid experience. The design features a custom brand-focused illustration style using a strict blue and yellow palette to maintain an authoritative yet engaging aesthetic.
