IX BIENAL DE ARTE FLAMENCO MÁLAGA 2025

La Bienal de Arte Flamenco de Málaga es un encuentro cultural que celebra el flamenco como expresión artística y patrimonio vivo. Un espacio de difusión y encuentro en torno al cante, el baile y el toque, que pone en valor la tradición flamenca y su vínculo con la ciudad, reuniendo a artistas, públicos y contextos diversos alrededor de una cultura profundamente arraigada.Para desarrollar su identidad gráfica partimos de un proceso de documentación y arqueología visual, buceando en los carteles flamencos de los años 70 y 80. Nos interesaba rescatar su forma de comunicar: la tipografía, el exceso de texto, los colores y ese "aje" propio de la gráfica popular. Desde el respeto, reinterpretamos esa tradición con una mirada actual, manteniendo la autenticidad, la energía y la pasión del flamenco.

HOUSE HEADS 1:1 COLLE???????CTION (part 1/2)

The collection of 10 unique pieces cannot yet be shown. Only one of the 10 was shown, and I can therefore bring it back here to explain what it is about. These 10 House Haeds are designed individually, not combined randomly, this allowed me to have full creative freedom. The collection of unique pieces with its own theme, on the one hand takes up the stylistic features of the main collection, on the other it plays with elements of reality. The theme is precisely the reversal of the perception of reality. There are houses that melt, there are houses of which you can see the inside, with rooms and internal organs that mix, there are impossible houses, daughters of Esher. There is this one here, which at first glance is collapsing, but which is actually being reborn and rebuilding itself, animated by a green energy that gives it the strength to come back to life from the rubble.

In arid high-altitude landscapes, shallow saltwater pools form in isolated depressions where water has no outlet. Intense sunlight, extreme evaporation, and high mineral concentrations create an otherworldly environment, where water transforms into vibrant hues of red, pink, and orange.These colors are produced by microscopic life?halophilic microorganisms and algae - that thrive in hypersaline conditions and develop pigments to protect themselves from ultraviolet radiation. As the water evaporates, intricate salt patterns, polygonal crusts, and crystalline textures emerge, creating striking natural abstractions.

The texture, pattern and colours in nature never cease to amaze me. This series is all about the beautiful cabbage family. I am particularly drawn to the ambiguous blue and purplish colour of those huge leaves. So full of vitality!! Thank you always for all your kind support and encouragement!!
