We were invited to develop a brand story and visual identity that would help attract both national and international students to the Wellington Region and build an ongoing and respected platform for communication. Wellington Educated had lost momentum due to the pandemic in 2020 and needed a brand refresh and supporting visual identity to reinvigorate their message: to enjoy, live and study in Wellington. Ultimately helping to support the region's primary, secondary and tertiary education providers and attract international students.The message is simple but focussed: The Wellington Region has unique experiences beyond education. Students and families will fit in and grow. And will make Wellington a great place as their 'home-away-from-home' while studying in the beautiful and thriving capital.Using language and culture the logo comprises two symbols with multiple meanings (open books, doors, Maori and pasifika iconography and speech marks) making the 'W' for Wellington.

Known for creating cultural moments with blockbuster hits like Barbie (2023) and Saltburn, LuckyChap's ethos is grounded in celebrating extraordinary talent.At the heart of LuckyChap's creative universe is a singular focus: the individuals; writers, filmmakers, directors, actors, and all those whose brilliance brings remarkable productions to life. This celebration of talent shaped the foundation of their refreshed brand identity.The logo is central to this vision, placing emphasis on the "U", symbolising you, the talent, and the excellence that connects everyone within the LuckyChap community. Cleverly doubling as an LC monogram, the design subtly reinforces the brand's name. The script element ties back to their original neon logo, paying homage to their roots while embracing their evolution.

Some experiments with Multiple exposure, infrared and ICM on a collection of photos I have taken in recent years where the theme is vegetation and trees.The idea behind this series is different from the other photo collections. Where I try to take familiar elements and meaning from the frame to engage the senses more. Here, however, there are familiar elements such as trees and vegetation that I greatly exaggerate in post-processing.As usual I interpret and incorporate the impressions that arise when I process the images into the text.With Blessings..

Verizon's Billboard Ads Illustrated by Steven Noble

Steven Noble was commissioned by Hogarth (NYC) to create three custom portrait illustrations fin an engraving style for Verizon's new billboards ads. The three portrait include Abraham Lincoln, Ben Franklin, and George Washington based on the dollar bill with their faces in a "surprising" facial gesture. The eyes are popping, eye brows raised, mouth adjusted and wrinkles applied. These billboard ads were released to advertise their lower wireless rates across the US. Billboard ads were first released in Times Square (NYC).
