HALF A METER LONG SHOE

This unique museum exhibit has become a calling card of the Oktyabrsky Rural Museum of Local Lore. Here is an exposition of the Russian hut of the XIX century: a red corner with images, household items, clothing and shoes durnashey (because previously the village of Oktyabrskoye in the Pronyi district was called Durny). No one remembers where this shoe came from, probably a size fifty-seven, or maybe even bigger, and who brought it to the school museum.

The sole of this shoe is stomped, and this suggests that it was walked in, which means that in the village lived a real giant - a man-mountain.

THE ANKH AND THE TESLA COIL

The ankh is a well-known symbol used in ancient Egypt. In the image to the left, you can see the device of the Tesla coil with the flat inductor and the overhead inductor arrangement.

It is interesting to note that the Egyptians did not use abstract symbols representing deities or powers, but often depicted real technical devices available to them in that era. The ankh was considered a symbol of life and eternity.

The Underground Mysterious City of Derinkuyu

The "City of the Deep Well" goes underground for 65 meters, touching the groundwater.

On each level there is a huge system of ramified passages and labyrinths, which allowed the inhabitants to establish a life with minimal dependence on the external environment.

There were living quarters for 20 thousand people, halls for meetings, schools and chambers for religious studies, churches, and also various warehouses and storehouses with large stocks of food, weapon's arsenals. The underground city even had its own production - presses for pressing oil. There were premises under stables where sheep, cows and horses were kept.

The city was designed so that locals could easily navigate it, while outsiders, on the contrary, were confused. No one still knows what prompted the locals to build this structure.

GODDESS MUT-SOKHMET

In one of the halls of the Hermitage there is an unusual exhibit in the form of a statue of the ancient goddess Mut-Sokhmet. It has the appearance of a seated woman with the head of a lioness. According to mythology, Mut-Sokhmet was a bloodthirsty goddess of war and the sun. She was cruel and wanted to destroy all humans. The goddess could not carry out her plans because of the interference of other gods.

As the legend goes, the gods poured an intoxicating drink of red in front of Mut-Sokhmet. She mistook it for human blood, drank it, and forgot about her evil plans. According to the Hermitage staff, it is not uncommon for the statue's legs to take on a reddish hue. This happens on the eve of major disasters and crises. The last time there was redness was in 1991.

LOST TECHNOLOGIES OF ANTIQUITY

The Roman writer Petronius wrote in the first century A.D. about the amazing glass from which a vessel was made that was presented to Emperor Tiberius by a certain master. When the vessel was thrown on the stone floor, it did not shatter, but only changed its shape. The master immediately returned the vessel to its original form. To remain the sole owner of the unique glass vessel, Tiberius immediately ordered the beheading of the master glassblower.

So the secret of the flexible glass was lost for two thousand years. Only in 2012, the American glass company Corning managed to make its analogue - a glass material so flexible that it can be crumpled and twisted.

A prehistoric stone with a "microchip" was found in a Kuban river

The estimated age of the find is almost half a billion years old. The examination showed that the block was lying on the planet before the era of the dinosaurs. How it ended up on the surface of the earth, scientists have yet to figure out. It is possible that the stone washed out of the mountain by a powerful stream of water.

Why don't elites want to be exposed to 5G?
