WHY I SOMETIMES CLOSE TRADES BEFORE TP OR SL
As traders, we don’t just trade levels — we trade *information*.
There are moments when a trade goes against my initial analysis, and the price action becomes very clear: momentum has shifted, structure is breaking, and the probability of continuation in the opposite direction increases.
In such cases, I don’t sit back and “hope” for my stop loss to be hit.
I exit early.
Not out of fear — but out of discipline and market awareness.
The same applies to profits.
Even though I trade with a defined Risk-to-Reward ratio, the market doesn’t always move in a straight line. If I see signs of exhaustion, rejection, or a potential reversal — especially as an intraday trader — I may secure profits before the full take profit is reached.
Because in trading:
✔️ Capital preservation is priority
✔️ Flexibility beats rigidity
✔️ The goal is consistency — not heroism
A good trader doesn’t just follow a plan blindly…
He adapts when the market gives new information.
Trade smart. Stay disciplined.
