🚨 Last time we explored Linear Regression β€” but we skipped the code part. Not anymore!
Here are 3 fun and practical implementations you can try right now πŸ‘‡

1️⃣ Linear Regression from Scratch (no libraries magic)
πŸ“Ž https://github.com/benasphy/Linear-Regression/blob/main/Linear_regression_from_scratch.ipynb

2️⃣ Messi's Goal Prediction (yes, I’m a Messi fan 😎 β€” but feel free to switch to Ronaldo)

3️⃣ Study Hours vs Exam Score β€” classic but essential
πŸ“Ž https://github.com/benasphy/ML_projects/blob/main/Linear_Regression/Linear_regression_projects/study_hours_exam_prediction.py

Check them out and feel free to play with the data! πŸ”₯

πŸ§ πŸ’¬ Meet ELIZA – The OG AI Therapist from the 60s!

Before ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini…
Before even Windows or iPhones existed...
There was ELIZA πŸ‘΅πŸ’»

Developed in the 1960s by MIT’s Joseph Weizenbaum, ELIZA was the first chatbot that shocked people by mimicking a psychotherapist. You’d say β€œI feel sad” and she’d go:

β€œWhy do you feel sad?”

🧠 Mind-blowing at the time. People really thought she understood them.

Sure, she might sound like your grandma playing therapist after 2 cups of tea β˜•, but back then this was sci-fi level genius.

Sure, compared to today's LLMs that can write code, explain black holes, or beat you in trivia β€” ELIZA seems basic...
But she was the spark that started it all.

πŸ‘‰ Try chatting with her here:

Ask her questions.
Test her logic.
Mess with her responses.

She’ll still reply like it’s 1966.

You’ll gain a new appreciation for how far we’ve come in AI β€” and maybe even a good laugh πŸ˜‚

I think Ilya is underrated. I know most people argue it's not, but I insist his name should be at level of Geoffrey Hinton and Yann LeCun. He and Demis Hassabis would be pioneers in AGI development.
