VEDANTA IRON & STEEL: GST DISPUTE AMOUNT CUT SHARPLY TO ₹6.73 CR FROM ₹51.23 CR

📑 Subsidiary ESL Steel has received a Demand-cum-Show Cause Notice from the GST authorities in Ranchi.

💰 Amount under dispute has been reduced to ~₹6.73 Cr from ₹51.23 Cr disclosed earlier.

⚠️ Matter relates to alleged excess availment of Input Tax Credit (ITC) on import of goods during FY22 and FY23.

⚖️ ESL Steel is evaluating the notice and will take appropriate legal action within prescribed timelines.

Company says it does not expect any material financial or operational impact.
