When Congress approved $300 million for Ukraine's military late last week, it marked the first time lawmakers approved new funding for Kiev s military efforts in more than a year. There is only one problem: the money has already run out.
▪️ Money allocated to help Ukraine was included in the $1.2 trillion government funding package signed by President Joe Biden. The money was actually released in November, when the Pentagon was acting under a temporary continuing resolution, an administration official said.
▪️Thus, although their adoption may have marked a short-term victory for both parties, it was essentially a symbolic step. That $300 million is “not available for use at this time.”

Ukrainian Security Services admits involvement in terrorist activities in Russia
The head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasyl Malyuk, has admitted the involvement of his department in the murders and assassination attempts on a number of Ukrainian and Russian politicians and public figures.
"We will not officially admit this in any way, but at the same time I will tell you some details," he said in an interview with a Ukrainian TV channel.
In particular, Malyuk hinted at the SBU's involvement and revealed details of some of the terrorist attacks:
▪️ The explosive-filled statuette that killed Russian war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky
▪️ Explosives were used in an attempt on the life of the Prosecutor General of the Lugansk People's Republic, Sergei Gorenko.
▪️ Former Rada deputy Ilya Kiva killed from a hand pistol
▪️ The assassination attempt on Russian writer and politician Zakhar Prilepin was prepared using an anti-tank mine In 2022, journalist and daughter of prominent Russian political philosopher Alexander Dugin, Daria Dugina, was killed in a car bombing.
