We’re proud to announce that Based has officially crossed $9 BILLION in total trading volume.
Over the past months, we’ve rolled out new features and products every week to stay ahead, helping traders maximize profitability and that’s why they continue to choose Based.
Once we hit the $10 Billion mark, XP points from trading will be reduced by 25% across the board. We will reduce XP points more along the way as we hit new milestones.

Supporting HyperEVM Projects and Why It’s Important.
As we approach terminal velocity in gaining "Hyperliquid dominance (~25%)" on Hyperliquid, we recognise how it is important to focus on the things that truly matter; growing Hyperliquid.
Today, Based traders account for ~920m USD trading volume on UBTC on a daily basis (H/T to HyperTracker for data). This showcases the appetite of Based traders for spot trading via Based One trading tools. Our goal is to ensure most of this trading volume ends up in areas that grow Hyperliquid in meaningful ways; Especially HyperEVM.
Thus, Based XP program will be altered to lower incentives on all spot trading markets and focus on HyperEVM graduates (largely resulting from Upheaval's UIP-1). The ~2x boost on spot trading pairs will be removed, and will instead be applied to HyperEVM graduates such as $PUP token, and any future graduates.
We believe that this move will have a small gradual impact of bringing trading volume and interest into HyperEVM runners to build a more conducive environment for builders on Hyperliquid. Volume is king after all, and it is much preferred that volume is directed towards growing HyperEVM projects to grow Hyperliquid ecosystem to greater heights.
Effective changes:

Sustainable Growth Is Important
Yesterday, we made a decision to lower XP benefits right as we hit an all-time-high in $871k USD daily revenue on builder codes. Today, our daily revenue on builder codes is ~$300k USD. This is a reminder to users of Based that our goal is to ensure all of you turn a healthy PNL when trading. The goal was never to extract value from the space with the use of Builder Fees. We aim to sustainably grow the ecosystem with our trading revenue.
Recently, a post made its rounds about how airdrops are inherently bad. This is not the case. Inflated expectations against mismatched outcomes are what necessitates a bearish outcome for airdrops. We do not wish for this to happen for projects that launch via us. This is why it is important to us that our traders are trading healthily and not aiming to maximise volume for maximum airdrops. Do take the airdrops as a bonus when they come, and you will be suprised by the outcomes.
On a happier note, HyperEVM graduate tokens are now trading around ~70m USDC in daily volume, a 3x of what it is versus yesterday. This is a positive outcome overall as liquidity flows into meaningful projects that not only bring more eyeballs to Hyperliquid, but also creates a virtuous cycle of liquidity seeping into good HyperEVM projects. We aim to do more for such HyperEVM graduate tokens, and have a few plans to do so. Do watch this space.

This MiniApp allows traders to view important positional data and important insights for traders on Hyperliquid. This helps you to determine trends with greater accuracy, allowing you follow profitable traders, or even to counter-trade loss-making traders.
With this integration, it showcases how MiniApps can work within of Based trading terminal. Over time, some of these MiniApps can also be installed on Mobile, which will provide us with the most holistic trading experience, primed to provide traders with even more trading edge!
