This is a selective tariff reduction, not a full reset of the trade war. Both sides are keeping ordinary trade flowing while leaving the toughest issues unresolved.

🏙 New York Fed President John Williams said that after the September rate hike, there is no need to rush into another move and policymakers should wait for more data.

🖤 Markets interpreted the comments as favoring December over October
