🔥 Russia Officially Enacts Crypto Law – Only BTC, ETH and USDT Approved

⌚ President Vladimir Putin has signed a comprehensive cryptocurrency law, set to take effect on September 1, 2026.

🖤 Crypto is officially recognized as an asset, with trading activities supervised by the Central Bank of Russia.
🖤 Individual investors must pass a knowledge assessment and are limited to 300,000 rubles, approximately $3,800, per year on each platform. Qualified investors will not be subject to this limit.
🖤 Only highly liquid cryptocurrencies are approved: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USDT.
🖤 The use of crypto to pay for domestic goods and services is strictly prohibited. Banks are authorized to block suspicious transactions and impose a 48-hour holding period on wallet transfers.
