https://linktr.ee/BlackStoneFutures 👉 This weekend became more sobering with every hour as the news surrounding the coronavirus just continued to roll in the form of endless waves. Countries continue to close down at a record pace and appear to be limiting travel – the interesting one was Greece who declared a ban on all social interactions, Greece doesn’t seem to be a hotspot and this may just be a ploy to get ahead of the curve.

One of the most difficult things in trading is learning to tame the beast within that wants to trade at any cost. Risk management and account protection is far more important than how many “pips” you made and sometimes that means sitting out the market when it feels as though it is raining opportunity. We only traded twice last week, I suspect that in near term this may become the norm – given the magnitude of the headlines over the weekend, I am once again going to sit out the markets today and take my time in plotting opportunity.

A Stop Loss order is very important and helps you control and minimise risk within any given trade. When a stop loss order is hit, your position is closed.

A Take Profit order set the reward you are looking to get out of your trade and. When a take profit order is hit, your position is closed.

Both these types of orders help you calculate your reward to risk ratio.
