✨Over the past week, the market showed a clear recovery as institutional capital began to flow back in, ahead of the Federal Reserve’s upcoming interest rate decision.

✨The most notable news came from Vietnam, where Deputy Prime Minister Hồ Đức Phớc issued a resolution to pilot the digital asset market. The resolution outlines specific regulations for crypto offerings along with important requirements for participating entities, exchanges, and even individual investors.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market total capitalization increased by ~$187B (from ~$3845B to ~$4032B).

✨BTC Keeps Calm at $116K
✅BTC’s recovery this month began after dipping to a multi-week low just above $107K. The asset retested that support several times in the following days, but the bulls held firm and quickly drove BTC back above $110K.

✅Momentum continued as BTC challenged $113K on September 5 and 9, though it was rejected both times. That resistance finally broke on September 10, triggering a steady rally.

✅By Friday, BTC was already testing $116K, and on Saturday morning it spiked to a multi-week high of $116.7K - before losing steam and failing to push higher.

✨As many observers predicted, the US Federal Reserve has delivered its first rate cut of 2025, with the prospect of two more reductions ahead.

✨Another noteworthy development is the SEC’s announcement to streamline the approval process for crypto ETFs, paving the way for a wave of new funds to be approved in the near future.

✨Over the past week, the crypto market total capitalization decreased by ~$11B (from ~$4032B to ~$4021B).

✨BTC Drops Below $116K!
✅BTC kicked off the week with a surge from under $115K to nearly $117K, only to face swift rejection and tumble by more than $2,500. Volatility remained high ahead of Wednesday’s FOMC meeting, where the Fed delivered its first 25 bps rate cut of 2025.

✅In the hours leading up to the decision, BTC swung past $117K, fell under $115K, and briefly recovered to $116K. The reaction was muted at first, but by early Thursday the asset spiked to $118K - its highest in weeks.

✅That rally was short-lived, as BTC gradually slipped to $115,2K on Friday, rebounded just above $116K, but was quickly rejected again and now trades below $115K.

✅The US Federal Reserve has cut interest rates by 25 bps to 4.0%, in line with market expectations. This marks the first rate cut of 2025 after eight months of holding steady. While Fed officials project two more cuts this year, they surprisingly forecast just one cut in 2026, against market expectations of 2 - 3.

✅On Sept 17, 2025, the SEC approved an accelerated process for digital asset ETFs, clearing the way for faster listings on US exchanges. Under the new rule, any asset with futures traded on a licensed exchange for at least six months qualifies for a spot ETF. The review period will also be cut from 240 days to just 75, with no 19b-4 filing required.
