โจLast week, the cryptocurrency market experienced $1.72B in derivatives liquidations on the morning of December 10 but quickly recovered over the weekend.
โจOver the past week, the crypto market total capitalization increased by ~$110B (from ~$3625B to ~$3735B).
โจBTC Dominance on the Rise
โ On Monday and Tuesday, BTC faced several sharp price rejections, briefly falling to $94.4K multiple times. However, the bulls ultimately regained control, pushing the price upward in successive steps. By Thursday, BTC had not only recovered its losses but was also testing the six-figure mark.
โ BTC broke above $100K, climbing to $102K on Friday and Saturday. While initially encountering resistance, the bulls pushed the price further, reaching just under $103K, and by Sunday evening, BTC spiked to $104K.
โ BTC's Dominance over altcoins has also seen a notable increase. The metric rose above 56% on CoinMarketCap after dipping below 54% earlier in the week.
