> Don't miss read what I'm trying to say. I think Dan is a genious and I think EOS is the best blockchain on the planet. But investors and users can't relate to just technology. They need leaders. They need to buy in to the leader and know where it's headed. Bitcoin is an exception but people are still searching for the Figure Head. Until a project has reach mass adoption this leadership or figure head is need for people to invest their time and money into anything.

B1 is actively funding code for main net

if the community has a plan and a design then B1 might fund it

I mean EOS-specific code, things like the new resource model

So if we want to impliment a new governance system, we document it, we get community buy in on the direction, then B1 might choose to fund it.

I am certain that B1 wants EOS to be as independent as possible from them for their own legal defense

So anything the community does to "take over" that gives B1 confidence that EOS will be successful with greater independence from B1 the better for B1

Other chains have a strong leader that decides things, EOS hasn't.

EOS NY was likely to leave EOS due to funding had B1 not integrated them.

If we can organize people being a common vision, pull in a common direction, then we won't need B1 for funding because every will work to earn EOS

Even at #25 EOS is a 4B market cap, that is HUGE

We have "market cap envy"... instead of focusing on being the best we can be

they are able, and they are funding certain work. There are huge legal complexities with B1 funding a foundation

> why b1 can not fund?

> EOS narrative should return to a better money that promotes freedom rather than just "fuel" for dApps.

I explained this on my call, the utility value of EOS is like the utility value of Gold and Silver

Replying to:
> Really? Then its competing with BTC's use case. I thought the EOS token's value was derived from owning a piece of the network bandwidth...thats not at all the same narrative.

EOS can be better money than BTC because BTC's scaling issues limit its divisibilty

BTC will eventually be captured by banks like gold was captured
