PM Jan-Dhan Yojana crosses 472 million accounts
Among states, Uttar Pradesh tops the list with 84 million PMJDY accounts as on October 12, 2022. The total number of Jan-Dhan accounts in Bihar is 53 million (2nd position), helping catalysing the government’s mission for financial inclusion, including its social security programmes.
Data show that PMJDY has also helped in financial empowerment of women as over 55.5% PMJDY accounts belongs to them.

12 अक्टूबर, 2022 तक , राज्यों में उत्तर प्रदेश 84 मिलियन खातों के साथ सूची में सबसे ऊपर है। बिहार में जन-धन खातों की कुल संख्या 53 मिलियन (दूसरा स्थान) है, जो इसके सामाजिक सहित वित्तीय समावेशन के लिए सरकार के मिशन को उत्प्रेरित करने में मदद करती है।
आंकड़े बताते हैं कि पीएमजेडीवाई ने महिलाओं के वित्तीय सशक्तिकरण में भी मदद की है क्योंकि 55.5% से अधिक पीएमजेडीवाई खाते उनके हैं।
