Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday inaugurated India's longest rubber dam, Gayaji , on Falgu river in Gaya.
The dam has been built at an estimated cost of Rs 324 crore.
The Phalgu or Falgu, a river that flows past Gaya, is a sacred river for Hindus and Buddhists. Lord Vishnu's Temple Vishnupad Mandir is situated on the bank of Phalgu river also called Niranjana river.
Source of Falgu: Confluence of Lilajan and Mohana rivers.
Mouth: Punpun River

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने गुरुवार को गया में फल्गु नदी पर भारत के सबसे लंबे रबर बांध, गयाजी, का उद्घाटन किया।
यह बांध 324 करोड़ रुपये की अनुमानित लागत से बनाया गया है।
फल्गु या फाल्गु, एक नदी जो गया से होकर बहती है, हिंदुओं और बौद्धों के लिए एक पवित्र नदी है। भगवान विष्णु का मंदिर विष्णुपद मंदिर फाल्गु नदी के तट पर स्थित है।इसे निरंजना नदी भी कहा जाता है।
फाल्गु का स्रोत: लीलाजन और मोहना नदियों का संगम।
मुख- पुनपुन नदी
