We have an open position, involving ultrafast (broadband) THz spectroscopy which you will use to study the impact of disorder on the motion of electrons in perovskite materials.
Experience with ultrafast spectroscopy, optics, proficiency in (soft- and hardware) programming (for example in Python) and/or perovskite materials preparation is a nice bonus, but not essential: most things you will learn as you go. Initiative and creativity are highly valued and you should be motivated to dig into this project with me for four years.

The power system under study includes both traditional synchronous generators and renewable energy sources. These renewable sources are integrated into the grid using both grid-following and grid-forming inverters. Additionally, we will demonstrate the impact of increasing penetration of renewable sources on system inertia under various scenarios and develop methods to support and enhance renewable power system inertia.
