When Donald Trump took the office of president in January of 2017, one of the first things he did was hang a massive portrait of former President Andrew Jackson in the Oval Office. Early in his presidency, President Trump also traveled to the birthplace of Andrew Jackson, our seventh president, to extol his virtues.

Why?

Because President Jackson was an American lion, just like President Trump proved to be, and Jackson fought the same, albeit less sophisticated and scientifically seasoned, elitist insurgency Trump is fighting for the common sovereign today.

Personally, I find the similarities between Jackson’s spirit and Presidency and Trump’s rather remarkable. It should also be noted that prior to running for office, President Trump was a life-long Democrat—a Jacksonian Democrat. Trump has always cared about the common man and woman that works hard to live a good life and the union of our country.

Yes, Jackson, like most, was a product of the times and owned slaves. This is the micro polarization our traitors use to obfuscate and sully the greater truth of an imperfect man. Just as they do President Trump and all of our founders and early presidents.

Historical facts, however, prove conclusively of themselves that Jackson (like Jefferson and Madison) never questioned the citizenship of colored free men born upon our soil. And for Jackson it was never a question of whether our constitutional nation would continue to exist.
