Line of cops just moved up to the barricade at psb

#recap at 6:23pm (SPOG protest recap) SPD sent out a fuckload of bike cops (50+ officers) on the protest from behind the SPOG building as soon as protestors arrived. Officers immediately started physically shoving protestors, firing blast balls and impact munitions, and possibly other aerosol based crowd control munitions into the crowd without any kind of provocation. They were playing very loud country music (apparently the song Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy) from either the SPOG headquarters or their silly police boombox truck as the event unfolded. This was one of the most aggressive and quickly asymmetrically escalated attacks on protestors that I've seen so far from SPD.

As the initial chaos unfolded, it seems that they made several arrests. Protestors quickly moved to the defensive and were quickly advanced on by SPD bike cops. SPD pushed the protestors continuously backwards for about an hour (and about a mile and a half) before protestors dispersed in Judkins Park.

In regards to arrests, at least 3 are seen being arrested in some videos circulating around, however there may be more. It appears that another protestor was shot in the face with impact munitions.

This is what happens when you let this problem be dealt with by some heavily armed, violent individuals with just a basic training, the perception that they're always in danger but also always good and right, and who know they won't face repercussions for this.
