Think of live streaming as your legal right to spy and collect intelligence on police in public spaces. As long as you are in public space you cant be arrested for documentation. The whole point of being on a Remote Uprising Support Team is to be a functional intelligence system for demonstrators. Being journalists gives us certain rights to limited ability of espionage on police and militias in public. While filming a militia may be dangerous, filming police is absolutely our legal right and can help legally protect those on the ground.

#Kenosha I have seen the video of Kyle Rittenhouse sucker punching a girl at school. I don't need to share it on here to say that he is a murderer. Reality is we know hes violent. We know he did. If I share any more violent videos of Kyle Rittenhouse all I will do is further desensitize folks to violence.

#Kenosha There needs to be more sensitivity to violence across the board. Folks saying these videos desensitize us are correct. We need to be sensitive to these things so we have a healthy response to trauma when police continue to kill folks. We shouldnt be seeing people killed at the current rate, over 1000 folks will be killed by police by the end of the year. The fact that our city burned shows there is an unprecedented level of trauma in our community around police shootings. The lawlessness of police in the handling of both Jacob Blake and Kyle Rittenhouse incites additional violence the next time this happens to a city.
