Looking forward to seeing anti-lockdown protesters being outraged at this unjust restriction of freedom
Why is an attempted murderer on our streets when innocent folks gotta pay cash bail! This discrepancy is only part of why our cities burn. Your actions State of Wisconsin are inexcusably dangerous and irresponsible. Not only should the officer resign and be in handcuffs, but those who were on the scene and those in leadership must resign for their lack of attention, toward managing an attempted murderers case, and systemic hipocracy. They lock up poor folks while an attempted murderer is at home rewarded with taking the day off.
What's being done?
In a statement early Monday, Wisconsin DOJ said the officers involved in the shooting had been placed on administrative leave. The state's Division of Criminal Investigation is heading up an investigation into the shooting and will seek to "provide a report of the incident to the prosecutor within 30 days," according to the statement.
The statement provided by the state's DOJ does not identify the officers. It also doesn't indicate why officers confronted Blake at the scene.
