Civilization comes at a cost.
The price is steep, all things good and mighty surrendered, virility, wildness, risk. It costs our Strength, our Courage, our Wisdom, our mastery of self and most of all our honor and nobility.

Folklore is just as important as the mythology of a people because of it’s living on through the folk and retelling, much like myth yet on a smaller scale.
What is overlooked is that myths often arise from folklore, but because of their almost similar nature, myth and folklore often overlap one another.
Nevertheless, it is not really the realism of myths and folk tales that makes them important but the invaluable lessons or message they impart to the tribe.
The myth, although decidedly handy to educate one about gods, spirits, customs, culture and heroes in a grandiose scale, almost to the point of being out of reach… folklore brings those same gods, heroes and spirits into the home or around the fire to warm themselves and share a tale or two.
Folklore’s importance is that it shows that the ancestors and gods have a personal interaction and interest in their extended family… us.

Today is not a Day of Mourning, Today is a Day of Celebrating Those Who Came Before Us.

Honor The Fallen.

This is commonplace for many of us that find our way to heathenry and authentic paganism out of abrahamic religion.
There is a period of desolation, and of unbelief within that begs the question “what do I truly believe?”

It is also perfectly normal to experience this, but be patient. On the other side of the mountain of doubt is true spirituality and self awareness that we are a part of something as old as the hills and as ancient as the land itself.

What helps immensely is seeking out others who have made the trek, and their guidance in finding the right foothold to reach the zenith.

Stay the course Hyperborean. There is no turning back now.
If you could, would you want to?

Eerie how similar these sites are to one another.
As if our folk have been making the trip from across the pond far longer than history books and scholars have led us to believe.

Nothing short of a biological miracle on a racial scale, Hyperboreans are prime cut specimens, with endurance, creativity, strength, and beauty being a few of our traits.
A rare combination of all of the best characteristics of the animal we know as man.
A shining beacon of resilience, purpose and presence unmatched by any other tribe.

Remember who you are, White man.
