Civilization comes at a cost.
The price is steep, all things good and mighty surrendered, virility, wildness, risk. It costs our Strength, our Courage, our Wisdom, our mastery of self and most of all our honor and nobility.

The Lough Crew cairns in Ireland is said to have been created when a giant hag dropped her cargo of large stones from her apron.
This lines up with Beira (Cailleach), the Winter goddess, in the creation of the British Isles.
Neither good nor evil, she just is.
Beira cares for animals during the dark winter months and is the patron of wolves.
According to legend, she either dropped or cast stones from her apron as she traversed the land and these grew into rock formations or mountains.

A large rock situated at Coulagh Bay, close to Eyeries in County Cork, is believed to represent the Cailleach’s face which turned to stone as she stared out to sea, waiting in vain for her husband, Manannan Mac Lir, to return to her.

"Who are they? 'The gods of the earth,' says the Book of Armagh. 'The gods of pagan Ireland,' say the Irish antiquarians, 'the Tuatha De Danān.'"

You may have noticed the lack of posts and content in the past couple of weeks.
This is due to my future relocation to another state, another job and in preparation for the upcoming move.
I am looking forward to this not only for myself, but for my family’s well-being.

Where I go next will be a transition from a blue state to a red state, as well as moving to a location with more room to breathe.
Away from a bumbling, multicultural hellscape, and closer to the primal wilderness.
This isn’t my last move, because if it was I would only hear the trees talking to each other, animals carrying about their day and the grass between my toes.
I will get there eventually, but it’s at least one step closer.

In the meantime, enjoy this great image of foxes sharing an enjoyable moment.

The Honored Dead

Witches, spirits and things that go bump in the night will soon be on their way, and the veil will thin to its breaking point.
What a joyful time to be reunited with our ancestors and the venerated dead,
remembering lost friends and family members and honoring them for the impact they made in our lives.

Our ancestors hold great wisdom; they lived and learned before us, and we can look to them for guidance in bringing honor to the family line.
What can we do to prepare for this most joyous time of year?
By taking the time to remember those who have come before us.
Ponder on how much they have contributed to your life and the reminders of their role in your life and community.

Visit their gravesite, talk out loud with them (they listen!), pull out the photo album and remember the times you had with them in this life.
Invite friends or family over that knew them so everyone can reminisce about the times shared.
These things make for a welcoming home when the veil finally does part.

Celebrate our ancestors who have paved the way for us to be present where we are today, and honor them by being a positive force in our communities.
A lot has happened over the past couple of years with regulating officials doing their best to drive us apart either by seclusion or hatred towards our kinsmen.

Let’s stick it to the man and show our ancestors that family is stronger than any force in any known world.

The witching hour is right around the corner, because Halloween will soon be upon us.

9 Common Misconceptions in European Ethnic Faith
We here at Hyperborean Radio have noticed many common misconceptions about European Ethnic Faith that have been perpetuated over the years. So we thought it would be good to point some of these out especially for those just returning to their ancestral ways.

1. Faeries Have Butterfly Wings
No, Faeries look indistinguishable from us, they developed wings as a fancy during the Victorian Age. -The Butterfly Wings are only symbolic to differentiate them from humans and was a compromise with the Church who tried for Bat wings while the people favored bird (Sparrows, Ravens, etc) or "angel" wings as many Fae turn into birds-

2. Runes and Ogham are Magic Systems
No they are writing systems, individuals who wrote using Runes or Ogham existed among the populace until the last century. -When occultists and hippies made them into magic systems effectively erasing our heritage to play magician-

3. There is a Strict Hierarchy and Ranking System to The Gods
No this is just false, there was immense tribal, regional and even individual variation and it was actually more common to give attention to spirits and ancestors than the gods, who were in many cases one and the same. -Quite often it was done to mimic the Olympian Greek Tradition, to be taken seriously by academics or to make church propaganda, a god is a god is a god, unless its a spirit or maybe over here they're Fred's Uncle-

4. Human Sacrifice & Cannibalism Was Common Among Pagans
There is literally no evidence for this and looking into it, it all boils down to atrocity propaganda based off of a single priests writing. -Most examples have parallels in modern culture such as burying the dead with treasured items or confining an animal for slaughter to eat them no one today would call this "sacrifice" human or animal. We still smoke animal corpses it's called BBQ, we still cremate people, in 500 years is Uncle Ted's White Snake CD he was buried with going to be some esoteric symbolism?-

5. Europeans Worshipped Devils
If you are following this channel you should already know this is nonsense, but just in case I'll say this, our gods, spirits and even ancestors were labeled as monsters and devils in order to make us venerate a foreign god of the Semitic Tribes rather than those of our own. -It's kind of brilliant in its own demented way.But according to the Church all Hyperborean's are Hellspawn-

6. Gods and Humans are Completely Separate
No... our people are actually described as being descended of or directly related to the gods. With many of us undergoing apotheosis and becoming gods ourselves. -Need I say more?-

7. Wicca and Druidry is Celtic Paganism
Modern Wicca is an Occult Hinduified Dualism or Monotheism depending on who you ask. -This is in contrast to the term "Wicca" which meant male herbalist heathen or as the Church called a "Witch"- Modern druidry is much the same being a blending of the Occult, Hinduism and misguided nature veneration. -This is opposed to actual Druids which were an extremely varied intellectual class who kept oral traditional knowledge - Modern parellels include individuals like Tesla or Tolkien-Neither in reality has anything to do with actual Celtic tradition in the modern day aside from stealing Celtic words and imagery.

8. Occultism is the European Magical Tradition
No, it is a result of a blend of Elite Esoteric Nonsense regarding Paganism from a Semitic Worldview with a bias towards Monotheism and Kabbalistic Jewish esotericism. With the end goal being trying to combine everything into one religion. -Basically Power Fantasy and Abrahamic Cope-

9. There are Only a Handful of Gods and the Rest are Aspects
This is patently false because our people become gods. The entire idea merely extends from a misconception of Greek tradition combined with the Hindu view. Having no place or instance from our actual Lore or traditions. -This is mostly pushed by individuals who care not for the old ways and know even less than they talk about-

Sincerely,

One of the greatest things that the otherworld brings is reunion.
It is a beautiful place of everlasting summer where residents dance in true bliss, and have no wants.
Fathers rejoin with daughters, brothers together again at long last, and mothers who can embrace their children once again.
A true happiness is being reunited with family separated by death.
Our ancestors wait for us and will have much to talk about if we squander our time in this realm.
Make them proud to welcome you home.

The meadow of the ancestors looks like this world… only more.

The Capel Garmon Firedog, found in Wales dates to 50BCE-50CE and is made from 85 seperate pieces of wrought iron, originally it would have been one of a pair standing on either side of a chief's hearth.

It appears carefully placed and it’s unbroken state suggests that it was either deliberately buried as an offering to the gods or hidden for future retrieval.
This fits into a long-established tradition of depositing metalwork in Welsh lakes, rivers and bogs during the Bronze and Iron Ages.
