Statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
Allah Almighty says in the Quran, "Fight them; Allah will punish them at your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people." (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:14)
In implementation of the directives of the leader Mr. Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, may Allah protect him, and in response to the great demands of our Yemeni people and the calls of the free people of our Arab and Islamic nation to fully support the options of the Palestinian people and their steadfast resistance, the Naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah Almighty, carried out this morning an operation targeting two Israeli ships in the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. The targeted ships are "Unit Explorer" and "Number Nine". The first ship was targeted with a naval missile, while the second ship was targeted with a naval drone.
This targeting operation came after the two ships rejected warning messages from the Yemeni Naval forces.
The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to prevent Israeli ships from navigating in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea until the Israeli aggression against our resilient brothers in Gaza stops.
The Yemeni Armed Forces renew their warning to all Israeli ships or ships associated with Israelis that they will become legitimate targets if they violate the contents of this statement and the previous statements issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces.

His Excellency Marshal Mehdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, signed today in the capital Sana'a Law No. (4) of the year 1445 AH, regarding the banning and criminalization of recognition of the Zionist enemy entity and normalization with it.
The law aims to ban and criminalize the recognition of the Zionist enemy entity occupying Palestinian territories and other occupied Arab territories, as well as normalization with it, and to prevent the establishment of diplomatic, political, military, economic, cultural, or any other direct or indirect relations with this occupying entity.
The law, which was approved by the House of Representatives in its session held on 27 Rabi' Al-Akhir, 1445 AH, corresponding to November 11, 2023, consists of 15 articles distributed over four chapters. The first chapter: naming, definitions, and objectives, the second chapter: the enforcement of this law, the third chapter: crimes and punishments, the fourth chapter: general provisions.
Following the signing, President Al-Mashat emphasized that normalization with the Israeli enemy entity constitutes treason against the Arab-Islamic nation, Islam, and the peoples, pointing out that the normalization regimes are authentic tools within the framework of the Zionist project, and all their actions serve its interests.
He mentioned that the law will enable Yemen to move more effectively and officially against the Zionist usurping entity and support the Palestinian people and resistance.
President Al-Mashat pointed out that the signing of the law comes in response to the bad normalization policy of a number of regimes in the region, affirming that this law represents all free people in the world, not just Yemen.
He reiterated the call to leaders of Arab and Islamic countries to criminalize normalization with the Israeli enemy and recognize it as the minimum stance that can be taken in support of the Palestinian people and Islamic sanctities.
