Görüşdən məmnunluğunu ifadə edən Prezident Seyid İbrahim Rəisi Azərbaycan Respublikasının İran İslam Respublikasının qonşuları içərisində ölkəsi üçün çox vacib tərəfdaş olduğunu bildirdi. Ölkələrimiz arasında iqtisadi-ticari əlaqələrin səviyyəsindən məmnunluğunu bildirən İran Prezidenti dedi ki, İranın Azərbaycanla əməkdaşlığı hərtərəfli inkişaf etdirmək üçün ciddi niyyəti var.

Prezident İlham Əliyev Azərbaycanın Xəzər dənizində və Cənubi Qafqaz regionunda sülhün və təhlükəsizliyin təmin olunması istiqamətində səylərini davam etdirdiyini dedi.

Dövlətimizin başçısı xüsusilə Xəzəryanı ölkələr arasında münasibətlərin dostluq əsasında inkişafından razılığını ifadə etdi.

Azərbaycanın müstəqil xarici siyasət həyata keçirdiyini vurğulayan Prezident İlham Əliyev bu il sentyabrın 12-13-də Ermənistanın regional vəziyyəti gərginləşdirmək istiqamətində təxribatlar törətdiyini diqqətə çatdırdı. Hazırda Cənubi Qafqazda sülh quruculuğu proseslərinin getdiyini deyən dövlətimizin başçısı bildirdi ki, Azərbaycan irəli sürdüyü 5 prinsip əsasında Ermənistanla sülh müqaviləsinin imzalanmasını təklif edib. Dövlətimizin başçısı Ermənistan tərəfindən siyasi iradə göstəriləcəyi təqdirdə, bu istiqamətdə irəliləyişə nail olmağın mümkünlüyünə inandığını qeyd etdi.

Görüşdə İranla Azərbaycan arasında Ağbənd körpüsünün açılışının həm rəmzi, həm də böyük praktiki əhəmiyyətinin olduğu qeyd edildi.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in Astana.

Expressing his satisfaction with the meeting, President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said that the Republic of Azerbaijan was a very important partner for his country among the neighbors of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Noting that he was pleased with the level of economic and trade relations between the two countries, the President of Iran said that his country had a serious intention to comprehensively develop cooperation with Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan was continuing efforts to ensure peace and security in the Caspian Sea and the South Caucasus region.

The President of Azerbaijan hailed the development of relations among Caspian littoral states on the basis of friendship.

Emphasizing that Azerbaijan was pursuing an independent foreign policy, President Ilham Aliyev drew attention to the fact that on 12-13 September this year, Armenia had committed provocations and deteriorated the regional situation. Stating that peace building processes were currently underway in the South Caucasus, the head of state said that Azerbaijan had proposed to sign a peace treaty with Armenia based on five principles. President Ilham Aliyev said he believed in the possibility of achieving progress in this direction if Armenia displayed political resolve.

The sides noted that the opening of the Aghband bridge between Iran and Azerbaijan had both a symbolic and a tremendous practical significance.

International Charity Bazaar dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Azerbaijan-UN Partnership, the third anniversary of Azerbaijani Chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the UN Day (celebrated throughout the world on October 24 every year) will be held at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex in Baku on October 22.

The event will be organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports, the UN Resident Coordinator Office in the country and the NAM Youth Organization.

During the Charity bazaar, diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan will sell the food items from their national cuisine and other merchandise (souvenirs, books, etc) characteristic to their countries for the symbolic prices.

The event will also feature a cultural program comprising national/folk music and dances of different countries, including Azerbaijan, as well as Tombola (lottery) for charity purposes, where each visitor will have a chance to buy a ticket for Tombola to win valuable gifts.
