=============================
Awash Insurance continues to advance its ESG journey through a dedicated ESG Governance and Leadership capacity-building session for the Board of Directors, conducted as part of the Technical Assistance (TA) Program supporting Awash Insurance’s commitment as a signatory to The Nairobi Declaration on Sustainable Insurance (NDSI) through FSD Africa.

The session strengthened the Board’s understanding of ESG leadership, governance, strategic oversight, and the management of ESG-related risks and opportunities—reinforcing the importance of leadership in building a resilient and sustainable insurance business.

This milestone reflects Awash Insurance’s journey from NDSI commitment in 2023 to ESG capacity building and Strategy development and validation, and now toward institutional implementation.

From commitment to strategy. From strategy to action. From leadership to lasting impact.
