Bisan Owda, a video journalist in Gaza, takes us inside the UN schools that now act as shelters for over 1 million displaced Palestinians. The schools are severely overcrowded and lack proper sanitation — as many as 160 people are forced to share a single toilet. Some shelters have seen outbreaks of #cholera and #hepatitis.

But even these shelters are not safe — Israel is now demanding that the Palestinians sheltering in #KhanYounis flee farther south to #Rafah.

🇵🇸 Sky News report shows aftermath of Israeli air strike on Rafah

While filming at a hospital in Rafah, southern Gaza, a Sky News team witnessed a deadly Israeli air strike. Rushing to the scene of the strike to document its aftermath, they found people trying to dig out survivors from beneath the rubble.

Sky's Middle East correspondent, Alistair Bunkall, said it is unclear why the area was attacked and that people had been told Rafah was safe.
