► Narrated: Ibn Masud
"A man came to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and his voice trembled out of awe as he spoke to him.
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said to him,
“Take it easy, for I am not a king.
I am just a man whose mother ate dried meat."'
ابومسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک شخص آیا، آپ نے اس سے گفتگو کی تو (خوف کی وجہ سے) اس کے مونڈھے کانپنے لگے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے کہا: ”ڈرو نہیں، اطمینان رکھو، میں کوئی بادشاہ نہیں ہوں، میں تو ایک ایسی عورت کا بیٹا ہوں جو سوکھا گوشت کھایا کرتی تھی
عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ رَجُلٌ فَكَلَّمَهُ فَجَعَلَ تُرْعَدُ فَرَائِصُهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ " هَوِّنْ عَلَيْكَ فَإِنِّي لَسْتُ بِمَلِكٍ إِنَّمَا أَنَا ابْنُ امْرَأَةٍ تَأْكُلُ الْقَدِيدَ "

Never give up hope of Allah's Soothing Mercy:
Truly no one despairs of Allah's Soothing Mercy,
Except those who have no faith.

➨ QURAN 2:155-156
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْوَالِ وَالْأَنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ ﴿١٥٥﴾ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّـهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ ﴿١٥٦﴾
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,
Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return."
➨ QURAN 2:214
أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِن قَبْلِكُم ۖ مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ مَتَىٰ نَصْرُ اللَّـهِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّـهِ قَرِيبٌ ﴿٢١٤﴾
Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you?
They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of Allah ?"
Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.
➨ QURAN 29:2-3
أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ ﴿٢﴾ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّـهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ ﴿٣﴾
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?
But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.

A slave (of Allah) shall not believe until he believes in Al-Qadar (Destiny), its good and its bad, such that he knows that what struck him would not have missed him, and that what missed him would not have struck him.

➨ QURAN 2:216

ممکن ہے کہ تم کسی چیز کو بری جانو اور دراصل وہی تمہارے لئے بھلی ہو اور یہ بھی ممکن ہے کہ تم کسی چیز کو اچھی سمجھو، حاﻻنکہ وه تمہارے لئے بری ہو، حقیقی علم اللہ ہی کو ہے، تم محض بےخبر ہو
But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you.
And Allah Knows, while you know not.
► PROPHET MUHAMMAD (ﷺ) said:

O you who have believed with your tongues, but faith has not entered your hearts, do not backbite about the Muslims or seek their faults, for whoever seeks their faults, Allah will seek his faults, and if Allah seeks a person's faults He will expose him, even in his house.
اے وہ لوگو! جو ایمان لائے ہو اپنی زبان سے اور حال یہ ہے کہ ایمان اس کے دل میں داخل نہیں ہوا ہے مسلمانوں کی غیبت نہ کرو اور ان کے عیوب کے پیچھے نہ پڑو، اس لیے کہ جو ان کے عیوب کے پیچھے پڑے گا، اللہ اس کے عیب کے پیچھے پڑے گا، اور اللہ جس کے عیب کے پیچھے پڑے گا، اسے اسی کے گھر میں ذلیل و رسوا کر دے گا
يَا مَعْشَرَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِلِسَانِهِ وَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الإِيمَانُ قَلْبَهُ لاَ تَغْتَابُوا الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُوا عَوْرَاتِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ عَوْرَاتِهِمْ يَتَّبِعِ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ وَمَنْ يَتَّبِعِ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ يَفْضَحْهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ

اے وہ لوگو! جو ایمان لائے ہو اپنی زبان سے اور حال یہ ہے کہ ایمان اس کے دل میں داخل نہیں ہوا ہے مسلمانوں کی غیبت نہ کرو اور ان کے عیوب کے پیچھے نہ پڑو، اس لیے کہ جو ان کے عیوب کے پیچھے پڑے گا، اللہ اس کے عیب کے پیچھے پڑے گا، اور اللہ جس کے عیب کے پیچھے پڑے گا، اسے اسی کے گھر میں ذلیل و رسوا کر دے گا
يَا مَعْشَرَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِلِسَانِهِ وَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الإِيمَانُ قَلْبَهُ لاَ تَغْتَابُوا الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُوا عَوْرَاتِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ عَوْرَاتِهِمْ يَتَّبِعِ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ وَمَنْ يَتَّبِعِ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ يَفْضَحْهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ

A man said to the Prophet (ﷺ), "Advise me! "The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not become angry and furious." The man asked (the same) again and again, and the Prophet (ﷺ) said in each case, "Do not become angry and furious."
ابو ہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کی: آپ مجھے کوئی وصیت کریں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ”غصہ نہ کیا کر۔“ اس نے بار بار اپنے ساوال کو دہرایا لیکن آپ یہی جواب دیتے رہے۔ ”غصے میں آیا نہ کر”
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوْصِنِي. قَالَ " لاَ تَغْضَبْ ". فَرَدَّدَ مِرَارًا، قَالَ " لاَ تَغْضَبْ ".

► Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri said:
“I entered upon the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was suffering from a fever, I placed my hand on him and felt heat with my hand from above the blanket. I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, how hard it is for you!’ He said: ‘We (Prophets) are like that. The trial is multiplied for us and so is the reward.’ I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which people are most severely tested?’ He said: ‘The Prophets.’ I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, then who?’ He said: ‘Then the righteous, some of whom were tested with poverty until they could not find anything except a cloak to put around themselves. One of them will rejoice at calamity as one of you would rejoice at ease.’”
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، آپ کو بخار آ رہا تھا، میں نے اپنا ہاتھ آپ پر رکھا تو آپ کے بخار کی گرمی مجھے اپنے ہاتھوں میں لحاف کے اوپر سے محسوس ہوئی، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ کو بہت ہی سخت بخار ہے! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ہمارا یہی حال ہے ہم لوگوں پر مصیبت بھی دگنی (سخت) آتی ہے، اور ثواب بھی دگنا ملتا ہے“، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کن لوگوں پر زیادہ سخت مصیبت آتی ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”انبیاء پر“، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! پھر کن پر؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پھر نیک لوگوں پر، بعض نیک لوگ ایسی تنگ دستی میں مبتلا کر دئیے جاتے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس ایک چوغہ کے سوا جسے وہ اپنے اوپر لپیٹتے رہتے ہیں کچھ نہیں ہوتا، اور بعض آزمائش سے اس قدر خوش ہوتے ہیں جتنا تم میں سے کوئی مال و دولت ملنے پر خوش ہوتا ہے“۔
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَهُوَ يُوعَكُ فَوَضَعْتُ يَدِي عَلَيْهِ فَوَجَدْتُ حَرَّهُ بَيْنَ يَدَىَّ فَوْقَ اللِّحَافِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا أَشَدَّهَا عَلَيْكَ قَالَ " إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ يُضَعَّفُ لَنَا الْبَلاَءُ وَيُضَعَّفُ لَنَا الأَجْرُ " . قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ النَّاسِ أَشَدُّ بَلاَءً قَالَ " الأَنْبِيَاءُ " . قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ " ثُمَّ الصَّالِحُونَ إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدُهُمْ لَيُبْتَلَى بِالْفَقْرِ حَتَّى مَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُهُمْ إِلاَّ الْعَبَاءَةَ يُحَوِّيهَا وَإِنْ كَانَ أَحَدُهُمْ لَيَفْرَحُ بِالْبَلاَءِ كَمَا يَفْرَحُ أَحَدُكُمْ بِالرَّخَاءِ " .

ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، آپ کو بخار آ رہا تھا، میں نے اپنا ہاتھ آپ پر رکھا تو آپ کے بخار کی گرمی مجھے اپنے ہاتھوں میں لحاف کے اوپر سے محسوس ہوئی، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ کو بہت ہی سخت بخار ہے! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ہمارا یہی حال ہے ہم لوگوں پر مصیبت بھی دگنی (سخت) آتی ہے، اور ثواب بھی دگنا ملتا ہے“، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کن لوگوں پر زیادہ سخت مصیبت آتی ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”انبیاء پر“، میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! پھر کن پر؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پھر نیک لوگوں پر، بعض نیک لوگ ایسی تنگ دستی میں مبتلا کر دئیے جاتے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس ایک چوغہ کے سوا جسے وہ اپنے اوپر لپیٹتے رہتے ہیں کچھ نہیں ہوتا، اور بعض آزمائش سے اس قدر خوش ہوتے ہیں جتنا تم میں سے کوئی مال و دولت ملنے پر خوش ہوتا ہے“۔

"I asked Abu Abyub [Al-Ansari] how the slaughtering was done during the time of the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم).
He said:
'A man would sacrifice a sheep for himself and the people in his household. They would eat from it and feed others, until the people (later) would boast about it and it became as you see now."
