In the beginning, Allah said:

اقرا باسم ربك الذي خلق
Read in the name of your Lord who created

And at the end, He will say:

اقرا كتابك كفى بنفسك اليوم عليك حسيبا
Read your record. Today, you are enough to judge yourself

Between the first “read” and the last… is your entire life
What will your book say about you?

Why do you worry, when your Lord says,
Be”…and it is.

Why do you doubt, when He tells you,
It is easy for Me.”

Why do you fear, when He promises,
Your Lord will give you until you are satisfied.

Why do you feel powerless, when He is over all things capable.

Why do you lose hope, when He reassures you,
With hardship comes ease.”

Why do you feel alone, when He says,
Is not Allah sufficient for His servant?

And why do you overthink, when He is the One who manages every affair.

Rest your heart in the care of the One who created it… for He is gentler with you than you are with yourself,

❝The parable of Imaan is like that of a city which has five fortresses. The first (and innermost) of them is made of gold, the second of silver, the third of iron, the fourth of baked bricks, and the fifth (and the outermost) of mud (and unbaked bricks).

So as long as the people of the city defend the mud fortress, the enemy would not be able to reach the next fortress. But if they fail to defend it, the enemy will penetrate (and reach) the next, and then the next, until all the fortresses are destroyed.

Similarly, Imaan is like these five fortresses. The first is Yaqeen (certainty), the second is Ikhlaas (sincerity), the third is fulfilling the Faraaidh (obligations), the fourth is the Sunan (recommended acts), and the fifth is Adaab (etiquette).

As long as a person safeguards his etiquette, Shaitaan will not be able to penetrate it. But if he abandons his etiquette, Shaitaan will reach his Sunan, then his obligations, then his Ikhlaas, until he reaches his Yaqeen.❞

Imagine someone who prays consistently for 60 straight years… then on the Day of Judgment, he finds out that not a single one of those prayers was accepted.

All those years, and his record is zero, because of one mistake he kept making over and over again.

So what’s the mistake that could ruin all those prayers?

Abdullah ibn Umar (radhiyaLlahu anhuma) narrated:
"A man may pray for sixty years, yet not a single prayer is accepted from him, perhaps he perfects the ruku' but not the sujud, or he perfects the sujud but not the ruku'." -reported by ibn Abi Shaybah in Al-Musannaf.

In another scary hadith from Abu Hurairah (radhiyaLlahu anhu), the Prophet (S A W) said:

ان العبد ليصلي الصلاة ما يكتب له منها الا عشرها تسعها ثمنها سبعها سدسها خمسها ربعها ثلثها نصفها
"A man may finish his prayer, and nothing is recorded for him except a tenth of it (1/10)… or a ninth (1/9)… or an eighth (1/8)… or a seventh (1/7)… or a sixth (1/6)… or a fifth (1/5)… or a quarter (1/4)… or a third (1/3)… or half (1/2) of it." -reported by Abu Dawud and Ahmad.

Seeking knowledge to perfect your acts of ibadah is an endless journey.

May Allah forgive us and guide our actions. Amin

Every joy, every delay, every loss is under Allah’s control. What He has chosen for you will never miss you.

So surrender your heart to Him, and find peace.

Dear brothers and sisters,

The line between truth and falsehood has been made clear. Islam does not accept mixture, compromise, or dilution.

If anyone chooses to follow traditional practices such as Ifa or any other belief system, let them be honest and open in their choice. But it is not permissible to combine such practices with Islam.

Allah ﷻ warns us clearly:
وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

"Do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know it."
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:42)

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Whoever imitates a people is one of them."
(Sunan Abi Dawud)
And he ﷺ also said:
"The thing I fear most for you is minor shirk."
When asked about it, he said: "Showing off (Riya)."
(Musnad Ahmad)

If even minor shirk is feared, then what of practices that directly contradict Tawheed?

O believers,
Allah ﷻ makes the consequence of associating partners with Him very clear:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِهِ
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him..."
(Surah An-Nisa 4:48)

Islam is complete, perfect, and independent. It does not require supplementation from other belief systems.

"This day I have perfected for you your religion..."
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:3)

Therefore, O servants of Allah,

Be sincere in your faith. Be clear in your identity. Do not mix Islam with what it has clearly forbidden.

Let those who believe stand firm upon Tawheed. Let there be no confusion, no compromise, and no hidden contradictions in our worship.

O Allah, keep our hearts firm upon Your religion.

O Allah, purify our creed from shirk.

O Allah, grant us sincerity in worship.

Aboo Ubayy.

The Dua That Is Stronger Than All Medicine.

Place your right hand on the area of pain and recite:
‎بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Bismi-llāh (3 times)

Then say:
Aʿūdhu bi-izzati illāhi wa qudratihi min sharri mā ajidu wa uḥādhir.
(I seek protection with Allah’s might and power from the evil of what I feel and from what I fear).

Repeat this dua 7 times. After each recitation, remove your hand from your body, place it back again, and recite the dua once more, continuing this process until you have completed all 7 repetitions.

Our Prophet ﷺ was a trauma survivor. He was born fatherless, lost his mother as a child, then his grandfather soon after. He was mocked, abused, boycotted, and even betrayed by his own family. He buried his own children while still alive. Yet, despite all this, he became the most emotionally balanced and spiritually elevated man in history. His life teaches us: trauma doesn't define you, how you respond to it does.

The tears that roll down your face…Allaah is watching it!

Your broken heart…Allaah knows about it!

The grief that made you to seclude yourself…Allaah is well aware of it!

Allaah, nothing from your affairs is hidden from Him!

At the peak of your loneliness, Allaah is with you!

Leave your affairs for Allaah to manage and move forward with your life…assuredly and confidently, being certain that no one has the ability to close the door which Allaah تعالى has opened for you!

Did you know that the people of Jannah will have a moment of regret?

“The people of Paradise will only regret a moment they did not remember Allah.”

This profound Hadith teaches us something that even after experiencing eternal peace and success, the believers will look back and long for moments in which they could have remembered Allah more.

We all know what regret feels like. That quiet sting in your heart after a missed opportunity. The weight of words we wish we could take back. The ache of time wasted that we can never recover.

Regret in this life hurts, it is painful and uncomfortable but it is also a mercy because it means there is still time to change. Still time to return. Still time to make things right.

However, there will come a day when regret will no longer lead to action and the chance to change will be taken from you.

Below are 10 regrets of the Hereafter, pause, open your heart, take it in and truly reflect.

1. The Regret of Wasted Life:

أَن تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يَا حَسْرَتَىٰ عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطتُ فِي جَنبِ اللَّهِ

“Lest a soul should say, ‘Oh my regret over what I neglected regarding Allah…’”
(Surah Az-Zumar 39:56)

Notice dear brother or sister, that the regret mentioned in this ayah is not over a single sin or even a fleeting mistake.

It is the shock of clarity, realising that your entire life was an accumulation of worship that was delayed, opportunities to repent that were ignored and the illusion of tomorrow until it was too late.

Imagine the pain that comes with realising you could have lived a life filled with the remembrance of Allah and righteous actions, but you succumbed to your desires and were overtaken by distractions.

Remember, how you spend your days is how you will spend your life.

2. The Regret at the Moment of Death:

حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ
لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ
“My Lord, send me back so I can do good…”
(Surah Al-Mu’minun 23:99–100)

At the end, all you will want is one more chance.
Not to accumulate more wealth and accolades, but to do righteous actions.

Know, dear brother or sister reading this, you have that chance today. You have the ability to perform the righteous actions that you have been delaying but one day you will beg and plead to go back.

3. Those Who Prioritised the Dunya:

فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ * وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا * فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَىٰ

“But as for the one who transgressed and preferred the life of this world, then indeed Hellfire will be the refuge.”
(Surah An-Nazi‘at 79:37–41)

Ask yourself a question dear brother or sister and be truthful in your answer, if you look at your day to day life, are your actions showing a preference for this world or the hereafter?

4. The Regret of Those Who Refused to Listen:

وَقَالُوا لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِي أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ

“They will say: ‘If only we had listened or used reason, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze.’”
(Surah Al-Mulk 67:10)

They heard, but they never truly listened. Are you truly listening to what Allah has commanded you to do and if you are listening, are you taking heed?

5. The Regret of Those Who Turned Away From Remembrance:

وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ
“And whoever turns away from My remembrance — indeed, he will have a difficult life, and We will raise him on the Day of Resurrection blind.”

“He will say, ‘My Lord, why have You raised me blind while I used to see?’”

“He will say, ‘Thus Our signs came to you, and you forgot them; so this Day you will be forgotten.’”
(Surah Taha 20:124–126)

Turning away from the remberance of Allah may not constitute complete rejection but it may just be constant neglect.
💯4
The message here is clear, forget Allah and he will forget you on the day you need him most.

6. The Regret of Those Who Failed to Prepare:

يَوْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَابًا

“The Day when a person will see what his hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will say, ‘Oh, I wish I were dust!’”
(Surah An-Naba 78:40)

Imagine a regret so deep, they will wish they never existed. One day you will sit with the painful realisation that only you are responsible for what your hands sent forth.

7. The Regret of Those Deceived by False Hopes:

“They will call to them, ‘Were we not with you?’ They will say, ‘Yes, but you led yourselves into temptation, and you awaited (for evil), and you doubted, and false hopes deceived you until the command of Allah came, and the Deceiver deceived you concerning Allah.’”

Hope without action becomes a trap. Strive to never be from those who this ayah painfully describes.

8. The Regret of the Wrongdoer Who Followed the Wrong Path:

وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا

And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands and say, ‘Oh, I wish I had taken a path with the Messenger.’”

Woe to me! I wish I had not taken so-and-so as a close friend.”
(Surah Al-Furqan 25:27–28)

Notice how Allah vividly describes the state that they will be in. They will bite not just their fingers,  but their entire hands, symbolising the deep and immense regret that will consume them.

Just one  friend may be the reason for your destruction.

9. The Regret of the Hypocrites:

“The Day the hypocrite men and hypocrite women will say to those who believed, ‘Wait for us so we may take some of your light.’ It will be said, ‘Go back behind you and seek light.’ Then a wall will be placed between them, with a door; inside it is mercy, but outside it is punishment.”
(Surah Al-Hadid 57:13)

They looked like believers, they lived amongst them but lacked sincerity. Their regret here isn’t over their actions, but who they pretended to be.

10. The Regret of the People of the Fire:

“And they will cry out therein, ‘Our Lord, take us out; we will do righteous deeds, other than what we used to do.’ [It will be said], ‘Did We not give you life long enough for whoever would remember therein to remember, and the warner came to you? So taste (the punishment), for there is no helper for the wrongdoers.’”
(Surah Fatir 35:37)

It is now that they are ready but it is now that it is too late.

Know, dear brother or sister that you reading this right now means you still have a chance.

Every regret listed above shares one reality: It comes when action is no longer possible.

Right now, regret is still alive within you and that means change is still possible. The regret you may currently feel is a mercy from Allah. Do not ignore that feeling, do not dwell on it, but rather act on it before it is too late.

Never hurt someone so deeply that they sit on the prayer mat, shedding an ocean of tears, begging Allah for peace and relief. Never become the reason for someone’s pain and suffering. Allah is the Most Just, and He never wrongs those who have been deeply hurt by His creation. Never push someone to the point where they cry helplessly before Allah, constantly asking for mercy and comfort.

Who does Allaah love?

Shaikh Falaah ibn Ismaa’eel al-Mundakar:

• He loves the doers of good.
• He loves the one who fears Him.
• He loves the steadfastly patient ones.
• He loves those who place their reliance upon Him.
• He loves those who act justly.
• He loves those who perform jihaad in His path.
• He loves those who repent and those who purify themselves.

Afflictions Occur in Two Ways

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

Afflictions occur in two ways:

1 — At times, when a person is afflicted, he remembers the reward and seeks the reward from Allah for this affliction, so there are two benefits in it: expiation of sins and an increase in good deeds.

2 — And at times, he is heedless of this, so his chest becomes constricted, and he is afflicted with irritation or something similar, and he is heedless of intending to seek the reward and recompense from Allah. So in this case, there is expiation of his sins. Thus, he is a gainer in every situation regarding these afflictions that come to him.

So either he gains the expiation of sins and the removal of sins without obtaining reward—because he did not intend anything, nor did he remain patient, nor did he seek the reward—or he gains two things: the expiation of sins and attaining reward from Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, as has preceded.

For this reason, it is befitting for a person, when he is afflicted—even if it is with a thorn—that he remembers to seek the reward from Allah for this affliction, so that he may be rewarded for it, along with it being an expiation for sins.

How to Assess the State of Your Heart – Ibn al-Qayyim

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

Look for your heart in three places:

1. When listening to the Qur’an
2. In gatherings of remembrance and knowledge
3. When you are alone in privacy

If you don’t find your heart there, ask Allah to grant you a heart..because, truly, you don’t have one.

– Al-Fawā’id, p. 479

Simple action plan:

· Read the Qur’an for at least 20 minutes every day
· Attend one Islamic class each week
· Remember Allah privately, on your own
· Make these supplications regularly:

“O Turner of hearts, make my heart firm on Your religion.”
“O Allah, rectify my heart and my actions.”
“O Allah, purify my heart from every evil.”
